Our Thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Peace on Thursday 28 November at 8:30 am. All are most welcome to join us in giving praise and thanksgiving to God for all the blessings we have received.
The 7:00 pm Tuesday Mass was instituted in September 2023. This Mass was added to our schedule when I was assigned as Chaplain at Carroll on Tuesdays with the understanding that the evening Mass would replace the morning Mass. With our current parish coverage, there no longer is a necessity to have this Mass on our schedule. Therefore, the remaining Tuesday evening Masses will be celebrated on the following dates: 19 November, 3, 10, & 17 December. Our Benediction will remain at 6:30 pm, except for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, every Tuesday. Thank you.
Archbishop Perez has dispensed the faithful from the obligation to attend Mass for the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, celebrated this year on Monday 9 December.
Advent begins in two weeks. The following is a schedule for our Advent Confessions.

Regular Saturday Confessions at Our Lady of Peace from 3:30 pm until 4:15pm
Tuesday 3 December and 10 December at OLP from 7:45 pm until 8:30 pm
Monday 16 December at Notre Dame de Lourdes from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm
Sunday 15 December and 22 December at OLP from 12:30 pm until 1:15 pm
Giving Tuesday & The I Give Catholic campaign – The mission of I Give Catholic is to unite Catholic communities and donors throughout the country to express their generosity in support of organizations that have helped to shape our lives of faith: our parishes, schools, and ministries. I Give Catholic accepts online donations from 18 November through 3 December. Notre Dame de Lourdes School is an I Give Catholic participant. More information about giving, including a QR Code, can be found in our weekly parish newsletter. Thank you for your most generous support.
The St. Charles Seminary Appeal is underway. The Seminary Appeal supports St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in its mission of preparing priests, deacons, religious, and lay leaders for service to parishes, schools, and other Catholic institutions. In support of the appeal, Alexander Cunningham, a Pre-Theology student at St. Charles, will speak at all our parish Masses next weekend, 23/24 November. The goal of the St. Charles Seminary Appeal is $3.5 million. Envelopes with further information about the Appeal can be found at the entrances of our Churches. Thank you for your generous support and for your prayers for vocations to the priesthood, permanent diaconate, and consecrated religious life.
